Trial lessons at Muzeg are an excellent way for new students to try our music lessons at a lower price. Unlike other platforms, Muzeg allows teachers to set up these trial lessons to showcase their teaching style.

Muzeg doesn't take a commission or fee from the teacher for these trial lessons. However, the minimum price you can charge for a trial lesson is $5.00, and offering them for free is not allowed.

Why Offer Trial Lessons?

Offering trial lessons is optional but a good idea. These lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes long. They help students understand your teaching style and decide if it works. Charging a small fee ensures that the students who sign up are serious about learning music.

Setting up a trial lesson on Muzeg is easy:
  1. Go to your Lessons page through Teacher Settings.
  2. Select Lessons and Availability, then Lesson Management.
  3. In the "Trial Lesson" section, click the slider to turn the status to Available.
  4. Enter the price for the trial lesson.

Making the Most of Your Trial Lesson

It's essential to make an excellent first impression during a trial lesson. Use this time to introduce yourself, understand your student's musical background, and show a bit of your teaching style. This helps you and the student see if you're a good match.
