When conducting online music lessons on Muzeg Classroom using macOS Catalina 10.15 or later, you'll need to enable screen sharing on Mac for your browser. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth experience.
Step 1: Access System Preferences
When you attempt to share your screen during a lesson, you might see a prompt asking you to enable Screen Recording for your browser. Click on "Open System Preferences" when you see this message.
If you don't see the prompt and still can't share your screen, open System Preferences on your Mac manually. Click the Security & Privacy icon, then select "Screen Recording" from the sidebar.
Step 2: Enable Screen Recording for Your Browser
In the Screen Recording section, click the checkbox next to your browser icon to allow screen sharing. To make changes, you might need to click the unlock icon in the bottom-left corner of the window.
Step 3: Restart Your Browser
After enabling Screen Recording, click "Quit Now." This action will close your browser, including the Muzeg Classroom session. You need to restart your browser to apply the changes.
Step 4: Rejoin Your Muzeg Classroom
Reopen your browser and rejoin your Muzeg Classroom session. You should now be able to share your screen.
Note: If you disable the Screen Recording permission in the future, you will need to repeat these steps to re-enable it.
