Muzeg Classroom is the default for live lessons. If you need a backup, you may use Zoom by sharing the meeting link inside Muzeg messages.

What Muzeg shows (and what it doesn’t)

  • There is no "Enter Classroom via Zoom” button on the lesson page.
  • Most accounts do not have a settings page to store Zoom IDs or passcodes.
  • Keep all coordination inside Muzeg messages so details are traceable if there’s a dispute.

Find your Zoom meeting details

  1. Open the Zoom app or website and sign in.
  2. Create a meeting (or use your Personal Meeting ID if appropriate).
  3. Copy the meeting link (and passcode if required).

For Zoom-specific instructions, use Zoom’s own help center.

Share Zoom details with your student on Muzeg

  1. Open the booked lesson on Muzeg and go to the Messages thread with the student.
  2. Paste the Zoom link (and passcode if needed). Ask the student to confirm receipt.
  3. Optional: add the link to your lesson notes for your reference.

How students join

  • Students click the Zoom link you shared in Muzeg messages and join from the Zoom app or browser.
  • If Zoom is blocked or fails, switch back to Muzeg Classroom from the lesson page.

Good practice

  • Offer exactly two options: Muzeg Classroom as primary plus Zoom as backup.
  • Send the Zoom link a few hours before lesson time and keep it in the Muzeg thread.
  • Use waiting room and meeting passcodes when teaching minors.
