Creating a top-notch video for Muzeg™ is straightforward. Use the tips below to record your introduction and add it to your profile.
Essential Equipment
Aim for steady video and clear audio. A recent phone or tablet works fine if placed on a stable surface or tripod.
- Use an external microphone when possible for cleaner sound.
- Record in a quiet, well-lit room; keep the camera at eye level.
Professional Gear (Optional)
- DSLR/Mirrorless camera for higher image quality.
- Field/USB mic (add a windscreen/pop filter to reduce noise).
- Audio recorder or audio interface if you play amplified instruments.
Submit Your Video to Muzeg™
Muzeg™ uses a YouTube link (no file upload needed). Here’s the flow:
- Upload your video to YouTube.
- Set Visibility to Public or Unlisted (avoid Private).
- Copy the video URL (e.g.,
https://youtu.be/VIDEO_ID
orhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID
). - Open Teacher Registration → Profile Media and paste the link in the Introduction Video field, then save.
Tip: Keep the title/description professional and do not include personal contact info—use Muzeg™ messaging/booking.
Update Your Video Later
- Go to Dashboard → Profile → Profile Settings → Profile Media.
- Replace the Introduction Video link with your new YouTube URL and save.
- Your profile will reflect the change after review/processing.
Troubleshooting
- Link rejected: Use a standard YouTube watch/short link (not Studio, playlist, or shorts edit links).
- Video not showing: Confirm YouTube visibility is Public or Unlisted.
- Audio issues: Re-record with the correct mic selected; reduce background noise.
