All Muzeg™ educators must uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and respect. By teaching on Muzeg™, you agree to the policies below.
1) Keep all communication and payments on Muzeg™
- Do not share private contact details (email, phone, social media, websites, messaging IDs) or solicit/offboard students.
- Use Muzeg™ messaging, booking, and wallet features for all lesson-related communication and transactions.
2) Respect, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity
- Treat every student with dignity regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or other identity.
- Avoid assumptions, stereotypes, or discriminatory remarks. Keep discussions civil and learning-focused.
- Steer clear of sensitive personal topics (e.g., politics, religion, marital status) unless a clear, student-led and pedagogically relevant context exists.
3) Privacy and safety
- Obtain explicit consent before recording audio or video of any lesson. Respect applicable laws and student/parent preferences.
- Do not share students’ personal information or content outside Muzeg™ without written permission.
4) Professionalism and responsiveness
- Respond to new messages and lesson requests within 24 hours (48 hours at most).
- Keep your profile accurate and current. Maintain your calendar to minimize declined, rescheduled, or canceled lessons.
- Be prepared, courteous, and constructive in all interactions. Offer clear guidance and feedback.
5) Punctuality and lesson time
- Arrive on time and teach for the full scheduled duration.
- If a student is late, remain available for the scheduled window. Extending beyond the booking time is at your discretion.
6) Professional learning environment
- Teach from a quiet, well-lit space with reliable internet and appropriate equipment.
- Use language and materials suitable for the student’s age and level.
Prohibited conduct (may result in account action)
- Taking students or payments off the platform; sharing private contact details or external payment instructions.
- Promoting competing services to Muzeg™ students.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or defamatory content.
- Spam, scams, phishing, or collecting personal data without consent.
- Providing false/misleading credentials or arranging fake/self lessons.
- Recording, reposting, or distributing lesson content without required consent.
Enforcement
Violations may lead to warnings, content removal, feature limits, suspension, or permanent account removal, at Muzeg™’s discretion.
